Information about who is an executor of a will online

Making a will is something that, because of the reason why we need to do it, is something that is easily put off - yet can lead to huge problems with probate if you don't write one in time.

Writing a last will and testament (to use the proper phrase for it) isn't as complicated as it used to be, and there are now many places online why you can write a legal DIY one!

Title : The Modern Law of Trusts
Author : David B. Parker
Rating : 1 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Who is this book written for?

This book is written in the style of a friendly guide to law rather than a textbook. This creates confusion as the book sets out to discuss in detail problems with trusts in the English common law but does so in a fudgy you know what I mean kind of a way. Discussion centres around conceptual, more abstract, aspects of trusts and equity but with inadequate reference to the technical nature of the law (you really need to be able to supply this for yourself). Worse still, Parker and Mellows do not address all issues relevant to law students and their tendancy to gloss over some of the more technical aspects of the law explains why their conclusions leave the reader feeling unsatisfied. I would only recommend this book to someone who has a good basic knowledge of trusts as a basis for discussion. It is not an accurate guide to the law and is likely to confuse the undergraduate and mentally damage the more general reader.

Title : The Law of Trusts (Butterworths Core Texts S.)
Author : James Penner
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Excellent analysis and very useful

This is a clear and informative guide to the law of trusts that is written in a far more accessible style than most trusts textbooks.

The night before my Equity exam at university, I glanced through this book (in quite a state of desperation!) and found clear, concise explanations to several concepts I had been unable to fathom all year. For a full explanation of the law, you may wish to turn to a weightier tome, but if you want to understand the key principles of trusts at degree level and have a reasonably short time to do it in, this probably your best option - it has just about the right level of detail to help you get to grips with stuff you will hopefully have time to read in more detail later...

Penner's style makes the book both straightforward and interesting (not an easy task when dealing with this area of the law!) and puts this text in the realms of the very, very useful.

Title : Last Will and Testament Kit
Author :
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : A very useful product

My wife and I decided that we needed to make our wills, however morbid as this process can seem, once it is done one can rest assured that things are taken care of. It doesn't take long in comparative terms and if you can steel yourself to do it it brings a lot of peace of mind. This kit is extremely helpful and cuts the cost considerably. A reviewer has said that it is too basic - well, it must have been improved since then (which was in 2002) because we found it contained everything we needed. The instructions are clear to follow and the forms clearly set out. Will storage is also offered at a very competitive rate. All in all we found this extremely helpful in what can be a tricky task.

Title : Trusts and Equity (Foundation Studies in Law S.)
Author : Richard Edwards
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : It truly brings Trust law to life!

It is an excellent textbook that de-mystifies and untangles the often confusing intricacies of Trust law. This is a must for the law student who finds this area of law confusing and frightening -I found it explains concepts clearly and concisely - see especially the chapters on Express and Resulting Trusts. It explains the Vandervell cases particularly well...

Title : Trusts (Nutshell S.)
Author : Angela Sydenham
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : A review of the Nutshells book on Equity and Trusts

I would definitely recommend this book to all those who are studying Equity. Unlike many legal text books, this one is written is such a way that it accessible to all, both the beginner and those who wish to clarify points on equity that they have studied. It provides the reader with a common sense approach to equity and while it can sometimes simplify some points of law, it generally provides a sufficiently detailed explanation of Equity and helps the reader to better understand this difficult subject. Another advantage to this book is that it does not saturate the reader with endless lists of cases, instead concentrating on the most important cases and providing explanations of all necessary facts in an accessible manner. In order for this book to be used as an easy reference guide while studying, the index is clear yet sufficiently detailed enabling you to find certain aspects of this area of law quickly and easily. In conclusion, this book is ideal as both a study guide and those who simply have an interest in the subject. While perhaps not detailed enough to be used as a textbook on its own, it provides a great reference point for any law student at an affordable and extremely reasonable price.

Title : Understanding Living Trusts: How You Can Avoid Probate, Save Taxes and Enjoy Peace of Mind
Author : Vickie Schumacher
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : It keeps gettin' better all the time...

I've recently had the privilage to read this fifth installment about estate planning from Jim and Vickie Schumacher, and I can honestly say it's the best they've turned out yet. Ever since their first edition (originally titled A Will is not the Way), these two have been giving us clear and concise information about the estate planning world in everyday, conversational English. This tradition is continued in their newest edition. What makes the fifth edition a must have, however, is all the new information they've included. Five months ago, President Clinton signed the Taxpayers Relief Act of 1997, seriously changing the "rules" on estate and capital gains taxes. Not only have the Schumacher's already incorporated this new information into their book and translated it from Washington's "legelese" into English I can understand, they've even told me how these changes pratically apply to my estate planning situation. This alone would make the book worth buying, but when you couple it with the state-specific estate planning information they've included (as a direct response from reader's requests), you've got a real steal.
