Title : Riddall: the Law of Trusts (Law in Context Series)
Author : John G. MA Riddall
Rating : 3 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Good introduction guide to Trust Law
Riddall's Trust Law is one of the simplest guide to the the subject. The words are clear, the format is structured and organized. I would recommend students of Trust Law to buy this book. However, his book is quite out-dated since the latest edition is published in 1996. Also, it lacks sufficient information of family home issues and proprietary estoppel.

Title : Land Law (Butterworths Core Texts S.)
Author : K.J. Gray
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : A detailed quite easy to read book
I found this book detailed to the extent that I needed for studying for my law exams. It gave quite a few examples of how the writing in the text would apply/has applied to a real situation. It clarified many aspects of Land Law I was not sure about. When I was not sure about a meaning of a legal term, the book would clarify everything within minutes. It's a good reference book as well and the writing is in good, clear english. I recommend it.

Title : The Law of Trusts and Equitable Obligations
Author : Robert A. Pearce
Rating : 1 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Obtuse, baffling, badly written and riddled with typos
A disaster of a text book which makes an already difficult subject even more impenetrable.
Key cases are badly, yet long-windedly explained, the index is hopeless, there's no glossary, and typos confusing tranferee and tranferor abound. This book required very close editing and proof reading and despite being in its third edition, shows no evidence of having had such attention.
Run a million miles from this steaming pile of ordure. If it's you're assigned text, bad luck. refer to it to see which areas you're supposed to be covering and read another text book.
Merely my 2 pence worth #8211; your mileage may vary.

Title : Commentary and Cases on the Law of Trusts and Equitable Remedies
Author : Joseph Arnold Nathan
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : The complete Trust textbook
Professor Hayton's book is the trust bible. It is thorough, challenging and will help develop an understanding of trusts which will be invaluable for the exam. If at times it is a difficult book it is only because trusts is a hard area of law. The great advantage of Hayton's book is that it is constantly predicting where the law is going and, given his influence in the world of equity, this is probably a self fulfilling prophesy! The materials are carefully selected and explained. I would recomend supplementing the book with another, such as Parker and Mellows. Hayton is infinitely more thought provoking but a lighter trusts guide will perhaps enable the reader to understand Hayton better. Having used Hayton all year I believe my mind has developed as a result of the book and I can appraoch the exams with confidence! Remember, there are no short cuts with trust law. This is not poncing around on the periphery with human rights and so forth but it is the cold black and white ink of the law. And no-one in the world knows more about trusts than David Hayton, so buy this book!

Title : How to Probate an Estate in Florida: With Forms (Legal Survival Guides)
Author : Gudrun M. Nickel
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : The Best and Simplest to Use on How to Probate an Estate
How to Probate an Estate in Florida is bar far the best, most comprehensive and simplest manual for the layman and lawyer alike. Ms. Nickel has very carefully studied the provisions of The Florida Probate Code and The Florida Rules of Probate Procedure and presented critical, vital information to her readers. In addition, Ms. Nickel has developed easy-to-use and time-tested forms, keyed to the relevant provisions of Florida Probate Law, that are extremely useful to lawyers, heirs, executors of estates and trustees.
How to Probate an Estate in Florida is a much better value than many other books dealing with Florida Probate Law. Further, Ms. Nickel is not only an experienced attorney, but a very caring advocate. Her experience in consumer law, mortgage foreclosure defense and probate law is just great! She has no equals!
In my opinion, when it comes to How to Probate an Estate in Florida, I would say: Buy it; read it; and use it. You'll be glad you did!

Title : The Law of Trusts and Equitable Obligations
Author : Robert A. Pearce
Rating : 2 Stars out of 5.
Summary : A textbook you would hate to be using
This textbook is very little value for money. It is the sort of book you would at best avoid to read. It really does not break the subject down in any logical manner and adds confusion with its obscure diagramms occasionally attempting to explain concepts to the reader. The only worthwile bit of the text book is the introductory part outlining the history of equitable jurisprudence. But quite frankly, for everyhing else you would be well advised to use another book. Its extremely small print and typo problems are additional factors you might want to bear in mind before buying this book.
