Information about finding the last will and testament online
Making a will is something that, because of the reason why we need to do it, is something that is easily put off - yet can lead to huge problems with probate if you don't write one in time.
Writing a last will and testament (to use the proper phrase for it) isn't as complicated as it used to be, and there are now many places online why you can write a legal DIY one!
Title : Trusts Law: Text and Materials (Law in Context S.) Author : Graham Moffat Rating : 5 Stars out of 5. Summary : The most readable textbook on equity and trusts.
This is an excellent text dealing with the difficult and often dry area of equity and trusts. The book puts this area of law in context and so enables the student to understand the importance of the principles which are considered. In this respect it is preferable to a lot of other textbooks on the subject which deal with the issues in a much more dry manner. Although the book is "student friendly" it maintains a good level of academic depth. A wide selection of cases and materials are included. It should be suitable as a textbook for many courses on Equity and Trusts as it deals with a wide range of topics. It is highly recommended, in particular for those who are struggling with more traditional textbooks.
Title : Last Will Testament Kit Author : Rating : 2 Stars out of 5. Summary : Far too basic
I was very hopeful when I ordered this pack, but very dissapointed when it arrived. The pack comes with a CD which I was expecting to be loaded with files and information, but it only has a total of 272KB of files on the CD !!! There are three basic will-types included for each of England/Wales and Scotland. Far too basic, and I don't have a complex requirement.
Title : Parker and Mellows: The Modern Law of Trusts Author : David B. Parker Rating : 1 Stars out of 5. Summary : Who is this book written for?
This book is written in the style of a friendly guide to law rather than a textbook. This creates confusion as the book sets out to discuss in detail problems with trusts in the English common law but does so in a fudgy you know what I mean kind of a way. Discussion centres around conceptual, more abstract, aspects of trusts and equity but with inadequate reference to the technical nature of the law (you really need to be able to supply this for yourself). Worse still, Parker and Mellows do not address all issues relevant to law students and their tendancy to gloss over some of the more technical aspects of the law explains why their conclusions leave the reader feeling unsatisfied. I would only recommend this book to someone who has a good basic knowledge of trusts as a basis for discussion. It is not an accurate guide to the law and is likely to confuse the undergraduate and mentally damage the more general reader.
Title : Hanbury and Martin: Modern Equity Author : Jill Martin Rating : 5 Stars out of 5. Summary : Equity follows the law.
This is an excellent book for those who are willing to know about some of the most important institutions within Equity in Law. Right now there's no flat distinction as between Equity and Common Law. What it is true is that in order to know the law you have got to know both, as you may use equity in case common law does not provide an appropriate solution. This is a must read for those involved in law and certainly to smart people, hungry of knowledge.
Title : Understanding Living Trusts: How You Can Avoid Probate, Save Taxes and Enjoy Peace of Mind Author : Vickie Schumacher Rating : 5 Stars out of 5. Summary : A MUST READ
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO DO LIVING TRUST YOU SHOULD READ PRIOR TO SEEKING LEGAL HELP. IT WILL MAKE YOUR TASK A LOT SMOOTHER.
Title : Trusts Law: Text and Materials (Law in Context S.) Author : Graham Moffat Rating : 5 Stars out of 5. Summary : Moffat Equity and Trusts
This book is extremely accessible and makes an extremely hard topic in law a great deal easier to understand. The writer avoids fancy words, which can often be confusing, and sticks to the relevant information which results in commendable clarity.
This book was a great help to me during the second year of my law degree and I would recommend it to any undergraduate.
