Then comes a chapter describing the basic responsibilities of an executor. The meat of the book begins with Chapter 3, which contains a list of 26 "duties"--just about every task an executor might have to do. These are spelled out in detail in the remaining 17 chapters. There's an absolute minimum of legalese. The book includes copies of some of the many forms you may encounter and sample letters and worksheets you can use as an executor.
